Terms of Use

Last updated: May 2, 2026

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of Amici, a personal tracking app designed to help users log symptoms, follow treatments, organize medical documents and prepare appointments.

2. Amici is not a medical device

Amici does not diagnose, prescribe treatment, replace a medical consultation or make medical decisions. Trends and summaries are organization and discussion aids only.

If you experience worrying symptoms, severe pain, fever, heavy bleeding, faintness, rapid worsening or any doubt, contact a healthcare professional or emergency services.

3. Use of the app

You agree to use Amici for personal purposes with information you choose to enter. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you record and for how you use exports, documents and reports generated by the app.

4. Apple account, iCloud and local mode

Amici can be used locally or with Apple features such as Sign in with Apple, iCloud and StoreKit. Access to these features depends on your device, Apple account and iOS settings. You are responsible for keeping your device and account secure.

5. Amici+ subscription

Amici may offer an optional Amici+ subscription. Paid features may include, depending on the version, extended history, advanced reports, long-term analysis, PDF exports or additional document and appointment capabilities.

In-app purchases, renewals, trials, cancellations and refunds are managed by Apple through the App Store. Apple’s terms apply to billing. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your Apple account settings.

6. User content and documents

You may import medical documents, notes, questions and personal information. You must have the rights needed to store or share those documents. Amici does not verify the medical accuracy of imported documents.

7. Exports and sharing

Pre-visit sheets and PDF reports are generated from data available in the app. Review them before sharing. You decide whether to send them to a healthcare professional or anyone else.

8. Availability and changes

Amici may evolve, receive updates, fix issues or modify features. We work to keep the app reliable, but interruptions, bugs or temporary unavailability may occur.

9. Liability

The publisher cannot be held responsible for a medical decision, delayed consultation, misinterpretation or harm resulting from using the app instead of professional medical advice.

10. Intellectual property

The Amici name, interface, text, graphics, illustrations, mascots and app and site components are protected. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited except where allowed by law.

11. Suspension or discontinuation

We may change or discontinue features if needed for technical, legal, security or product quality reasons. Subscriptions remain subject to Apple’s rules.
